This is because you can really use this cottage design to multitude of various uses.
LIVING ROOM
Sit back and enjoy. Read a newspaper and have a piece of cake by your side. Sooth your mind and listen to some
calming music. The ceiling opens up on top of you and you can let your spirit fly.
LOFTY UPSTAIRS
Roof angle is steep so this cottage has plenty of room in the upstairs. When you combine this with a balcony
access and open area to the downstairs your personal vacation retreat is complete. Time for afternoon tea or
morning coffee – climbing the stairs will give you that added benefit of enjoying freedom.
But wait, the goodness doesn’t stop here. The upstairs has lots of windows so that light gets in and makes the
loft space roomy and bright. Remember that it is not all about upstairs but you can utilise the veranda right under the balcony.
WIDE VERANDA
Maybe you would like to drink a glass of wine on the veranda or maybe you place the cottage so that evening sun
falls on it then it is a perfect place for hot chocolate in the midst of a falling night.
What else could you do on the veranda and at the cottage in general? Maybe you could be doing some stargazing
in the autumn, skiing during the winter and summer time fun in every season with the little help from the fire place and sun.
CUSTOM COTTAGE
Customize these log cabins homes as you wish, actually we challenge you to picture your dream log cottage and test if we can make it a
dream cottage come true. You can remove any room and add any room that you like. Cottage floor area and floor plan are
also fully customisable, be pleasantly surprised what we can do with a combination of logs and craftsmanship.
A STORY OF A PORCH
One customer wanted to extend the porch roof and add a separate sauna building to these log cabins homes. We turned the
house around and made some other changes with it (it is impossible to be happy with only one minor or even a major
change – one has to have several of them).
In the end of the design process we had a cottage model called Mäntyranta. When you take a look of it you can immediately
see that the starting point for the design was Huviranta, but there is little left of the original cottage. Could you do the same?

All models can be designed as either a modern town house, to fit in with other surrounding buildings or as a traditional log house?
Laminated glulam logs are used throughout our range and are offered in a range of thickness and heights, these are well suited for building a comfortable log home and a place in which to live or spend a holiday.
Short-cornered town houses can provide a traditional log-house feeling, with log panelling on the interior walls or you can have wallpapered walls and tiles, or a mix and match, the choice is yours, you can alter the decorative style to your heart’s content, and still enjoy the solid structure and the healthy indoor air that is characteristic of a log house.
